Kirkby Fourie Law Office is a client-focused, full-service law firm located in the heart of Prince Albert. We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join our administrative team. This front-line role is essential to the smooth functioning of the firm, providing both a professional first impression for clients and crucial support behind the scenes. Were looking for someone who is personable, proactive, and highly organized, with a talent for juggling multiple priorities. The right candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a variety of clerical and administrative tasks with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors by answering calls and greeting guests;
- Direct phone calls and inquiries to appropriate staff members;
- Schedule meetings and manage appointment calendars;
- Organize and distribute incoming/outgoing mail and courier packages;
- Perform routine clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, and basic document preparation;
- Support file opening procedures and assist with billing and account follow-ups;
- Keep the reception area and common office spaces clean, organized, and stocked;
- Provide occasional administrative support to lawyers and legal assistants as required;
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold client service standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills with a client-centered approach;
- Effective written and verbal communication;
- Proven organizational and time management abilities;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel);
- Attention to detail, including spelling and grammar accuracy;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
