Description

Olysky LP is looking for a Journeyman Millwright to join our team.  This position will assist with on location supervision, coordination, and execution of mill projects and maintenance.

General Responsibilities
Assist Mill Project Supervisor with scoping of mill projects (upgrades, major repairs, equipment replacement)
Provide on-site supervision and coordination of contractor work related to mill projects
Execute small projects/work scopes
Assist internal mill maintenance team to complete centrally delivered maintenance requests or MTNC programs
Assistance/support to trade persons & external contractors
Regular travel to mill sites with occasional overnight stays as required by project
Comply with all biosecurity protocols
Maintain a safe work environment
Leave all work sites clean and tidy
Attend centrally organized training programs.
Other related duties.

Education/Experience Required
Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Journeyperson or equivalent experience considered an asset
Welding & general mechanical knowledge
Experience managing subcontractors and small teams in a project/construction environment
Ability to work independently, and make field level decisions to best benefit the organization
Effective time management and supervisory skills
Hold a valid drivers license
