The Office of the Provincial Secretary is seeking a motivated and results oriented individual for a position in its Francophone Affairs Branch in Regina, Saskatchewan.
As an interactive communications officer, you will primarily be responsible for building and maintaining an online portal for French-language services in close collaboration with Saskatchewan ministries. You will also develop strategies for Saskatchewan's online presence in French and coordinate content for the Government of Saskatchewan on ministry websites across executive government.
You will also create French-language content for the Government of Saskatchewan website and contribute to the development of communication documents such as speaking notes and press releases for the Office of the Provincial Secretary. You will conduct research and analysis of issues pertaining to Saskatchewan's French-speaking community and the provision of French-language services. You will support the delivery of first-level services to French-speaking citizens and guide these citizens in their interactions with other ministries in French.
Excellent knowledge of both written and oral French and English is required. Knowledge and experience with web content management, a strong understanding of communications tools and techniques combined with the ability to communicate effectively with the public are required for this position. Typically, the knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position would be obtained through studies related to web content management and/or communications.
