Field Planner - Underground
Reporting to the Chief Maintenance Planner, the Field Maintenance Planner will support the underground maintenance requirements by providing, fully planned job packages for future maintenance, project and turnaround work on Marietta Miners, Drumcutters and conveyors.
Specific responsibilities include:
Supporting the Maintenance Work Flow Process
Development of a detailed job plan within SAP that will include the identification of required resources, estimated task durations, and the identification of all materials and services required for execution of the identified work.
Assembly of fully planned work into formal job packages for the Maintenance Groups.
Working directly with the Area Foremen to manage the backlogs to understand the priorities and ensure the right jobs are planned at the right time to match maintenance windows in the production plan.
Development and maintenance of equipment Bills of Material and PLAN type work orders in SAP.
Leading teams to develop or optimize equipment maintenance tactics.
Supervise crew or contractors as required by operational needs.
Qualifications of the position include:
Grade twelve education and a two-year technical diploma or an Interprovincial ticket in a recognized trade and seven to ten years of experience in a trade.
Ability to handle a large and varied workload.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Working knowledge of computer tools ( SAP, databases, MS Office)
Working knowledge of SAP PM Module is a definite asset

Agrium values work-life balance and offers a 9/80 schedule where employees work a two week cycle of 9 hour days with the first Friday in the rotation being an 8 hour day and the second Friday being a day off.
