Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, the Writer/Editor works closely with the Manager, the Library Directors Office, the Manager of Virtual Services, as well as other RPL Managers and content contributors in support of the Librarys corporate communications, marketing and brand initiatives.
This position is responsible for writing and editing content
for both print and online use, including marketing collateral materials, the Librarys web site and executive communications.
The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree supplemented with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a writer/copywriter, including management of web site content. With superior written and oral communication skills, the successful candidate will have the ability to write for various mediums and have exceptional grammatical
skills; ability to think strategically, analytically and creatively; and ability to manage multiple projects in a time sensitive environment with a wide variety of stakeholders.
Remuneration: $44,000 - $52,600 annually with an excellent
benefits package.
