After School Program Leaders
Position Summary
The After School Program Leaders will work under the direction of the Coordinator to implement an after school program for Grades 1-3 and Grades 4-6 for the period from December 1- April 31, 2010. The primary role in this position is to deliver after school programs and activities for children and youth who are enrolled.Qualifications
The applicant must be over age 15
Experience in working with children and youth
Enjoy working with children and youth
Some experience in facilitating recreational, home work, reading help, drama, crafts and music for children and youth
Able to work outside in our Saskatchewan weather in providing programming for those enrolled
Computer skills
Positive values compatible with the organization
Ability to work independently as well as to contribute to team process.
Good interpersonal relations skills
Good oral and written communication skills
A criminal record/child welfare check is required
Job Duties and Responsibilities
? Implement programs and activities with children and youth enrolled in the program
? Assist in keeping the working space clean and free from any hazards
? All other duties as assigned by the Coordinator to serve the goals and objectives of the After School Program.
These positions are a part-time position 2 days a week 3 hours a day, with work to commence in the first or second week in January 2010. Only those applicants who are interviewed will be contacted
