Partners in motion, a Regina based Emmy-Award winning entertainment company is seeking an experienced contract line producer for one of its television productions.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have production experience in the areas of project management, personnel management and financial management. Experience working on an international film set in the areas of television drama/feature film will be considered an asset.
Typical responsibilities will include:
? Acting as the key member of the production team
? Work on location of set
? Managing the budget of the production i.e. watching all below the line costs of the project with the intention of delivering the show on time and on budget.
? Managing the day-to-day physical aspects of the television production and serving a role similar to that of unit production manager.
? Representing the production company in a professional and appropriate manner
Job Requirements:
? Bachelor?s degree or equivalent in the areas of film and television production.
? Ability to think strategically, make decisions and solve problems
? Extreme attention to detail and adhering to schedules
? Knowledge of accounting procedures/practices
? Experience working on a film set
? Must be creative, adaptive and achievement-oriented
? Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills
? Team-oriented and a motivated self-starter
? Must be willing to travel for the duration of the contract
