Description
The Sales Associate position is fast-paced, involving constant interaction with customers, explaining product benefits and fulfilling customer needs. Helping customers is combined with store maintenance activities such as stocking shelves, merchandising and general housekeeping.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES IN THIS ROLE:
-Meet, greet and thank customers and provide friendly, courteous informed service to them
-Guide customers to location of products
-Suggest value-added and related products
-Merchandise shelves and display areas
-Ensure proper merchandising guidelines are met, and use of planograms
-Demonstrate a commitment to the Four Basics of Retail Execution: Faced, Filled, Priced and Cleaned
-Assist in locating products in the warehouse
-Maintain inventory accuracy & identify and report low stock
-Keep informed of promotions & in-store deals
-Follow store health & safety program and observe provincial occupational health & safety regulations
-Participate in meetings and all training, as required
-Completion of other task and duties that help in your career growth
-Flexible hours and weekends expected
