Description

Position Summary
Reporting to the Director, Vital Statistics and Resolutions, this position is responsible for the following:
- Working with the Vital Statistics Business Unit and project team members for the Vital Statistics Act, 2009 Prerequisites projects, the Vital Statistics Data and Document Conversion project and the Vital Statistics System Upgrade project to create and maintain support documentation related to processes and procedures used in the day-to-day operations of the Vital Statistics Business Unit and other ISC business areas.
- Interpreting and refining technical information into business procedures and educational support materials end-users.
- Researching and providing expertise in delivering end-user support content using a variety of methods.
Successful candidates will have
- A degree in English, education, administration or comparable field of education with a focus on written communications and research skills ? an equivalent of education and experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated ability in technical writing processes and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability in using software application including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of methodologies and practices in creating educational documentation vs. procedural documentation.
