The New Media Designer works closely with the Marketing Manager in developing and maintaining various online and interactive materials.

Responsibilities
?Create, maintain and update dynamic and static online materials
-Search Engine Optimization, Google Analytics and online advertising management
-Social Media research, execution and management
-Day-to-day internal creative projects
-Take concepts, strategies and content from the Marketing Managers and execute those plans to production
-Other creative projects on as needed basis ? including print materials

Qualifications
-New Media/Web Design/Graphic Design Certificate, Diploma or Degree
-Strong technical knowledge of web-based technologies, application and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, PHP and Javascript
-Knowledge of online media structure and functionality
-In-depth knowledge of search engine optimization, Google Analytics and online advertising
-Highly proficient in design using standard graphics applications; including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
-Macromedia Flash design and development experience an asset

-Strong conceptual skills
-Ability to take ideas from concept to completion with a keen attention to detail and ensuring content is accurate
-Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
-Must be able to work as a team player, be personable and reliable
-Ability to constantly research and stay on top of trends and technologies
