The Five Hills Health Region is seeking a permanent full time Labour Relations Consultant. The Labour Relations Consultant is accountable for the development, implementation and evaluation of sound labour relations policies, programs and procedures. The incumbent provides technical advice, contract interpretation, support at all stages of the disciplinary process, conflict resolution expertise, and advises managers regarding labour relations best practice. Proficient knowledge of current labour relations trends, case law and relevant legislation is required in order to make quick and defensible decisions based on a combination of precedent, experience and logic.
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor Degree in Commerce or Business Administration. - Three (3) years experience in the Human Resources field. - Three (3) years management experience. - Labour relations experience in a unionized environment is required. - CHRP Designation would be considered an asset.
A criminal record search complete with vulnerable sector search is required at the point of interview.
