Description
Sunrise Health Region requires an additional Family Physician for the Town of Esterhazy. Physicians must hold or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan. The successful applicant may qualify for the Rural Practice Establishment Grant Program, offered through the Saskatchewan Medical Association, which provides $25,000.00 to an eligible family physician that establishes a practice for a minimum of eighteen months in a rural Saskatchewan community.
Position Summary and Geographic Information:
This position works primarily out of the rural area; the medical clinics are modern, well organized and fully equipped. Esterhazy is a vibrant community located in the east central part of the province of Saskatchewan, with a population of over 2,500 and services a trading area of approximately 10,000. The Town of Esterhazy is about a one hour drive from the City of Yorkton and is nicknamed the Potash Capital of the World.

- Obstetrics/Gynecology - Ophthalmology
- General Surgery - Medical Health Officer
- Radiology - Anesthesiology
- Psychiatry - Internal Medicine
Remuneration and Incentives:
Remuneration is fee for service or contractual arrangement is available. Each community has their own additional incentives.
