Assurance Process.
The Child and Youth Programmer is a new position
specifically engaged to lead the Community
Services Community Outreach program for the
summer.
The Child and Youth Programmer is responsible for
the development and delivery of various child and
youth programs offered by the Town of Assiniboia.
In the position of Child and Youth Programmer, one
will:
Create, plan, program and provide for
recreational opportunities for youth based
programs that are sensitive to trends, needs of
the youth
Develop a monthly calendar of activities
for June, July, and August with each week having a
theme and the daily activities programmed towards
that theme
Facilitate and provide leadership for
youth opportunities by working with community
groups to build relationships and volunteer
opportunities
Develop marketing and promotion materials
prior to the start of the program, then conduct
registration of participants in the program
Set up of facility, activities, and food
preparation and clean up
Organize and prepare program supplies at
the beginning of the program
Create free-play stations that explore
arts, music, and free thought
Ensure that HIGH FIVE programming and
policies are implemented
Maintain communication with parents and be
responsible for the health and safety of
participants
