The Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and energetic person to fill one part-time position for the summer months. Your primary responsibilities will be to plan and deliver our summer drop-in programs on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, as well as occasional Saturdays and other days throughout the summer. Occasional travel may be required to attend festivals, special events, and programs in the city and surrounding area. This job is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to advance his or her skills in educational lesson planning, lesson delivery, public speaking, and classroom management.
The ideal candidate will have:
lesson planning experience
experience working with young children
excellent communication skills
a flexible schedule
ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
very strong leadership & public speaking skills
creativity and enthusiasm
a desire to learn & teach in a fun, educational environment

This position will begin part-time starting June 18th, and will continue for part-time work (approx 20-30 hours per week) until the end of August.
