Job Description:
Cummins Western Canada has an immediate opening for a Power Generation Field Service Technician in Regina. Reporting to the Service Manager, the position will be primarily responsible for:
Providing excellent customer service to all Cummins customers
Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of customer equipment
Using computers
Repairing customer generators
Requirements:
Journey Person qualification as a heavy duty, diesel engine, commercial transport or automotive mechanic
Previous Power Generation and Cummins experience would be an asset
Excellent troubleshooting and analysis skills, including electrical experience
Good computer skills
Valid drivers license
Strong problem solving ability
Self motivated; Able to work without supervision
Strong organizational and communication skills required
Excellent team player
Sound electrical and mechanical aptitude
Willing to cross train in other areas
Willing and able to travel as required; Prepared to be on call 24 hours
