Description

The Ministry of Government Relations, Information Management and Public Safety Telecommunications, Prince Albert office, is seeking a Radio Technician who is knowledgable of the best practices in electronics theory and repair practices of two-way mobile communications systems.  The successful candidate will provide technical services and expertise to users of the Provincial Public Safety Telecommunications Network (PPSTN) and provide support to the mobile two-way radio communications for public safety service providers across the province.  

You will also be required to physically perform tasks such as lifting, carrying or moving supplies and equipment and work on scaffolds, roofs, ladders and towers up to 30m.  The successful candidates must hold a valid Class 5 drivers license.
  
Typically, the knowledge and abilities required for this position would be obtained through a two year Electronic Engineering Diploma or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
