Description

Responsible for the processing of grain stocks (i.e. cleaning, drying and blending) in a high throughput elevator to maximize the value of inventory.

In conjunction with the manager, plans and co-ordinates the cleaning, drying and storage of processed grain to meet shipping requirements.
Prepares and operates grain processing equipment including the cleaner system, and dryers to ensure that contracted standards are met, while ensuring the optimum return for the company.
Assess the proper grade, dockage, moisture, and condition of grains and oilseeds to ensure conformity to Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) and end-user standards.
Assist in the operation of a ag-retail or grain handling operation
Participates in the inventory management and control procedures of the facility
Monitors the quality of cleaned grain and by-products.
Analyses and provides records of grain processing operations to ensure maximum efficiency.
Assists operations staff in the overall functioning of the elevator and the operation of facility equipment and controls.
Support in the sale and distribution of crop input products and services
