Description

Facility: Region (Weyburn)

Hours of Work:  Monday to Friday

Start Date: As soon as possible.

Closing Date: When filled.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must be licensed to work in Saskatchewan by the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists.  Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association is encouraged.
-Show sound professional judgement and initiative based on education and experience in the field of Physical Therapy.
-Have the potential ability to organize all types of patient care.
-Have the ability to work harmoniously and effectively with others and to display a willingness to communicate the philosophy of the practice of physical therapy to others.
-Show respect for and a willingness to learn from the professional knowledge of other members of the health care team.
-Demonstrate an ability to appreciate the importance of, and be open to, new concepts and trends in the academic and clinical field of health care knowledge.
-Be physically able to perform assigned duties.
-Valid driver's license - will be required to travel within the Region.

Applications must be received in Human Resources by 4:30 PM on closing date.  Part time hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period. Preference for this position will be given to Health Services Association of Saskatchewan members in accordance with the terms and conditions of Article 21.02 the Saskatchewan Association of Health Organization / Health Services Association of Saskatchewan Collective Agreement.  Please contact the facility for information on job description or shift schedules.
