Seed Hawk is an international manufacturer of state-of-the-art zero-tillage seeding systems, sold in Canada, the U.S., Australia, and Eastern Europe. Seed Hawk was established in 1992 to develop a drill that seeds, bands and packs in one pass. Seed Hawk strives to develop the most accurate seed and fertilizer placement systems to help farmers seed more efficiently and profitably. We have immediate openings on our R&D team for: R & D Mechanical Engineer.
Reporting to the Toolbar Design Group Leader, the Engineer is responsible for all facets of an R&D project including: research, CAD design, prototype development. You must possess confidence, imagination, initiative, creativity, and have a desire to continuously learn. You will be goal oriented and have good communication and organizational skills. You will also have experience with the design of machine structures.
A successful candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering with 2-3 years experience and knowledge of current farming practices and equipment. You will be a self starter; have ability to meet timelines and goals; and have the ability to work as a member of our team.
