SaskTel is proud to be major event sponsors of such events as SaskTel Jazzfest, SaskTel Summer Invasion, and many others. We also are very proud to sponsor smaller, local events within communities across Saskatchewan. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Corporate Communications office to help administer and organize SaskTels sponsorships within Saskatchewan. If you have a strong communication background and are interested in media relations, this will be the career opportunity for you!

IN THIS POSITION YOU WOULD:

Negotiate sponsorship benefits; develop, organize and implement SaskTel Community Relations (CR) programs and provide cross-divisional assistance and consultation regarding CR activities
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key decision-makers in the community.
Develop communications for existing and new CR events and organizations.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

1. University Degree in Administration, Commerce, or Arts and one year related work experience in a corporate, marketing, public relations or sponsorship environment OR Post secondary Certificate or Diploma in Marketing, Public Relations or Business Administration and three years related work experience in a corporate, marketing, public relations or sponsorship environment.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with others.
3. Ability to plan and organize in a self directed environment.
4. Thorough knowledge of business principles i.e. Marketing, Communications, and Finance.
