ISM Canada is seeking experienced Application Developers to join our Application Services team. Application Developers design, develop, and implement solutions based on specific business and client requirements. We're looking for candidates who possess sound knowledge of object-oriented development using Microsoft .NET and/or Java/open source technologies, and iterative development methods and practices such as the Rational Unified Process.
Candidates must have a recognized diploma related to computer software or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. Ideal candidates will have experience across the lifecycle of software delivery, including analysis, design, build, and test; knowledge and experience using a variety of technologies that make up the development and deployment environment of a modern information technology practice, including Application Servers, Source Code Management, Integrated Development Environments, Development Frameworks, Persistence Tools, Databases, Testing Tools, Automated Deployment Tools, and Application Security Tools. Experience in a dynamic, deadline-oriented, client focused environment as well as related certifications and strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills would also be considered an asset.
