The Organization:
Founded in 1955 as the Lutheran Sunset Home of Saskatoon, LutherCare Communities provides excellence in care, housing, and community services within a nurturing Christian environment.
The Luther Special Care Home has 129 beds which are used to provide level 3 & 4 care. This includes a secure 49-bed Special Needs Unit for residents with cognitive impairment.
The Position:
The cook is responsible for organizing, producing and distributing food and beverages. Salary and benefits are per the current SEIU/SAHO Collective Agreement.
The Applicants:
Applicants for the Cook position will possess a Journeyperson Cook certificate and Food Safe certificate. Basic computer skills, an ability to work independently as well as interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are all required. Good attendance is required.
