Description

The successful candidate must have
experience with:
    * running single brood chamber hives
    * raising queens
    * monitoring for bee diseases

The successful candidate must be:
    * intelligent
    * reliable
    * motivated
    * able to work with hands (handy)
    * able to teach and direct others
    * safety conscious

The successful candidate must have a driver's license.

The job will include some or all of the following tasks sorted by season:

Spring
    * shoveling snow off hives
    * checking hives
    * unpacking hives
    * grafting queen cells

Summer
    * catching marking and caging queens
    * extracting and/or stripping honey
    * washing equipment
    * cleaning  honey house
    * loading and unloading trucks
    * scouting new bee yards

Fall
    * feeding hives
    * wrapping hives
    * storing equipment
    * fencing
    * tree planting

Other
    * shoveling snow over hives
    * manufacturing and assembling supers, frames
and other related wooden-ware
    *sorting brood and honey combs
    * repairing equipment
    * rendering wax
    * cleaning pollen
    * making pollen supplement
    * sanding and painting supers
    * cutting wood
