Description
Focused on Western Canada, LML Industrial Contractors Ltd. is a full-service provider of contract maintenance and operations, turnarounds and sustaining capital projects for companies in the energy industry (heavy oil upgraders, coal fired power plants, oil refineries, gas processing plants), as well as non-energy sectors (petrochemical, mining, fertilizer/potash, and pulp and paper).
Duties and Responsibilities include:
-Understand LML's safety policies, procedures and values
-Proactive & visible safety leadership
-Safety and environmental compliance following policies and practices
-Ensure that a disciplined approach to safety is present at all times
-Adhere to all site specific procedures
-Ensure that all personnel are aware of, and effectively practice all applicable regulatory, company and client policies
-Effectively investigate all injury and property damage, and follow up to prevent re-occurence of same, produce top quality reports in a timely manner
-Direct arrangements for medical treatment in the case of an injury or illness and ensure that proper protocol is followed
-Identify and report hazards and potential hazards and discuss with shift members
-Maintain housekeeping standards by performing spot checks on jobs, vehicles and areas daily

Qualifications:
-Qualified tradesperson or strong technical background.
-Mechanical maintenance training or experience
-Excellent leadership, interpersonal, management and organizationsl skills
-Solid understanding of OH&S regulations
-Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office
-SAP knowledge is an asset
