Job Title: Full Time/Part Time/Casual & Weekends - Case Management Worker's
Job Description: Case Management Workers
Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Case managers will work closely with the families of Niwaapatahanaanik shelter, as well as their supports. This will require providing one-on-one support as well as working with various professionals and support agencies to coordinate meeting the daily living, health, financial and social needs of individuals and/or families who will transition to a healthy lifestyle. We are seeking individuals to work with Families, single Moms and Dads of Niwaapatahanaanik shelter.
The successful candidate must have and provide the following services:
- have knowledge and work experience of First Nation's & Metis traditions, values and customs
- knowledge of case management, crisis intervention procedures, child protection and child-in- care services and protocols
- possess strong team building work ethics
- possess effective problem solving and decision making skills
- be willing to work flexible hours
Qualifications:
- possess a BISW or BSW
- domestic Violence Training
- possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- submit to a criminal record check /child abuse record check
- clear drivers abstract
