Sunrise Health Region has an opening for a permanent full-time Public Health Nursing Manager located in Yorkton with Sunrise Public Health.

Job Summary:
The Public Health Nursing Manager has a broad range of managerial responsibilities including responsibilities to lead, direct, and manage the development, implementation and evaluation of Public Health Nursing services delivered through appropriate and effective public health programs throughout the Sunrise Health Region (SHR).
The Public Health Nursing Manager, as a member of the Public Health Team for the SHR, participates in policy planning and in determining immediate and long-range plans for Public Health programs in the SHR and holds the key interpretive role for public health nursing.
Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing, with course credits in Public Health Nursing
Master's degree in Nursing (or a related human services field) would be an asset
Current registration (or eligible) with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Possession of a valid Class 5 Driver's license
Five years previous experience as a Public Health Nurse
Experience in staff supervision
Previous experience in Management is a definite asset
Combination of relevant experience & degree in Nursing may be considered
Excellent oral and written skills
Ability to work collaboratively with team members, other human service professionals and agencies
Knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, Publisher and Outlook email
Ability to conduct on-line research
Familiarity with Public Health computer programs such as Saskatchewan Immunization Management System (SIMS) and Public Health Information System (PHIS)
