PATHOLOGIST ASSISTANT
Permanent Full Time

An employment opportunity exists for a Pathologist Assistant that is responsible for the initial examination and dissection of surgical specimens and dissection of bodies during post-mortem examination. The Pathologist Assistant also assists with research and instruction of Pathology interns/residents.

Qualifications:
Candidates will have a Master of Health Science degree with a major in Human Anatomy and Physiology and will have Certification with Canadian Association of Pathologists and/or Certification with the American Society for Clinical Pathology. You will possess Medical Terminology, basic computer skills, analytical skills and communication, organization and interpersonal skills. Candidates will also have the ability to work independently.
