Description

Central Plains Co-op is recruiting for the full-time position of Pharmacy Technician for the Rosetown Pharmacy.  We are seeking an individual who has pharmacy technician experience or has a valid pharmacy technician certificate.  Preference will be given to individuals with a valid pharmacy technician certificate.

The individual must be self-motivated and a service-oriented team member, as well as have excellent organizational skills and can prioritize workload.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with math, and problem-solving skills are an asset.

Duties will include, but not limited to:
-Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
-Data entry of patient care information
-Accurate dispensing of prescription medications
-Packaging of medications in compliance packaging
-Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
-Handling customer prescription pick up
-Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
-Ordering and returns for the Pharmacy
