Journeyperson Welder / Body Repair Technician
Full-Time Permanent, In-scope
Saskatoon, SK

You play a major role in ensuring STC meets its mission to provide safe, reliable and courteous transport of passengers and freight.

You will be required to inspect coach bodies and perform repair work using arc, mig and acetylene welding equipment and other related equipment.  This position involves physical and manual work in an industrial motor vehicle repair environment.  There may be extended periods of standing & bending to operate equipment and repair coaches.

You are a Certified Journeyperson Welder with at least three years experience and / or a Certified Journeyperson Body Repair Technician with extensive welding experience. You must hold a valid Class 5 drivers license as issued by the Province of Saskatchewan. You will be required to obtain a 5A drivers license within 90 days of accepting the position.  You will have considerable demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the materials, tools, equipment and methods used in repair of motor coaches.  You must demonstrate skill in diagnosing and repairing body and frame deficiencies; demonstrate skill in operating a variety of shop equipment particularly welding.
