The Ministry of Social Services, Community Living Service Delivery,  is seeking a Dietitian to join the Food Services team at Valley View Centre.  Located in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Valley View Centre is home to individuals with intellectual disabilities.  The successful applicant will provide leadership in nutritional planning through the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of nutritional care plans for the residents who reside at the Centre. If you are a caring and empathetic individual who is passionate about supporting and assisting intellectually disabled individuals live their life to the fullest, this opportunity may be for you.

To be successful, our candidate of choice will have knowledge of adult nutritional assessments and evaluation; various methods, theories and approaches such as therapeutic diets, tube feeding and dysphasia management; as well as medical nutritional therapy for various medical conditions.

To qualify, you will possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition or Home Economics and a post-graduate Dietetic Internship Certificate accredited by Dietitians of Canada.  A current membership with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association is also required.
