Description
Brandt is currently seeking Fitter/Fabricators and Welders for its facility located in Regina, Saskatchewan. The successful candidates will have their trade certification or a minimum of 3 to 5 years previous fitting or welding experience. Job duties include: reading and understanding engineered drawings and blueprints, determining the materials required, and planning the sequence of tasks to cut metal most efficiently, constructing patterns and templates as guides for layouts, laying out reference points and patterns on heavy metal according to component specifications, rigging, hoisting and moving materials to storage areas or within worksite, assembling and fitting metal sections and plates to form complete units or subunits using tack welding, bolting, riveting or other methods, and installing fabricated components in final product.
