Journeyperson Carpenter (Cabinet Maker) - TRA000355
Government Services requires a Journeyperson Carpenter that has proven proficiency as a cabinet maker with several years experience. As part of the Construction Services Team, you will work with other construction trades in the repair, maintenance and renovations in Government owned and leased buildings across the province. The main duties for this position will be in working out of our millwork shop located in Regina, building cupboards, furnishing and antique replicas.
The duties of this position will include:
estimating project costs from blueprints, drawings, or through oral and written instructions;
proven track record of safe work practices;
knowledgeable operation of various tools associated with the trade;
demolition and rebuilding of various office complexes;
manufacture of furniture and millwork items;
maintenance of those tools and machinery utilized in the trade; and
ability to train and or supervise apprentice workers.
