Description
The Ministry of Social Services, Income Assistance and Disability Services in Saskatoon, requires a skilled and highly motivated Supervisor for delivery of the Saskatchewan Assistance Program and/or Saskatchewan Assured Income for Disability (SAID) program. You will work with a team of Supervisors who are responsible for delivery of Income Assistance Programs to meet Ministry objectives and goals and promote successful client outcomes. You will train, supervise, support, coach and monitor staff and implement programs that provide income support and promote independence. In addition, you will provide leadership on policy issues, liaise with other Ministries and community agencies and advance the Ministry's strategic directions through representation on regional and provincial forums.
Preference will be given to candidates who have several years of supervisory experience. Typically, the knowledge for this position would be obtained through completion of a Bachelor of Social Work/ Indian Social Work Degree or a similar course of study with experience in a human service setting.
