Description

LEGAL ADVISOR (LITIGATION)
Saskatoon, SK

POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the corporations legal department team, you will
provide legal advice and services to support ongoing business
activities. Your primary focus will be to provide litigation
management and regulatory compliance services. You may also
be assigned to provide legal services in other areas, such as
marketing and exploration, as required.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements of the position:
    Bachelor of law/juris doctor degree
    Minimum of five years of experience as a lawyer, in private
practice and/or a corporate legal department
    Exposure to corporate/commercial law
    Equivalent combination of education and work experience
considered
    Member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan or another
Canadian jurisdiction
    Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication
skills

Assets:
    Experience in litigation management
    Experience and knowledge regarding compliance with the
Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and/or related legislation
