The Audit Branch of the Ministry of Finance is seeking an organized and cooperative individual to provide administrative support to Audit Branch staff and other areas of the Revenue Division as needed. This includes providing back-up to other administrative assistants.
In this position you will be required to prepare correspondence and other written material as well as formatting and editing correspondence prepared by others, booking conference rooms, formatting work unit reports, entering lead information into the audit selection system, entering audit output and return information into the applicable databases, data entry, making necessary travel arrangements for employees (i.e. flights and accommodations), fulfilling reception duties and other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of office and administrative practices and procedures. You will have the demonstrated ability to accurately compose, proofread and/or edit documents; access, retrieve, maintain and enter information into a variety of computer applications; and establish, update or archive hard copy or electronic records management systems.
This is term work of less than nine months in duration. Seniority provisions of the PS/GE Collective Bargaining Agreement do not apply.
