Description

The Saskatchewan Production center is currently seeking a full time Page Editor, responsible for placing content on a variety of pages for several newspapers.

Responsibilities include:
Layout and design of various pages for daily and weekly newspapers
Proofing of pages
Sending final pages to the printer
Outputting wire pages to online and archiving
Outputting stories and pics for websites
Outputting to web, archiving and online editions

Skills required:
Proficiency in QuarkXpress or InDesign
Photo-editing ability in Photoshop
Proficiency in the English language, CP styles and proofing
Familiarity with a Mac-based environment
Ability to work with accuracy and speed in building these pages.
A familiarity with all aspects of news from regional to national to international levels as well as entertainment, lifestyles and sports.
An eye for design
