Ballet Instructor
Nature and Scope:
We are looking for an enthusiastic instructor for our fall Beginner Ballet Dance Class. The program will run on Thursday evenings from 6:30 7:30pm for 10 weeks starting
The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for the instruction of the fall classes and will report to the Program Director. The candidate will also be required to assist in planning and development of the program.
Qualifications:
-Minimum 3 years training in Ballet style of Dance with positive references
-Previous experience and positive references related to working with children
- Instructing experience
- Strong communication skills with children
- Reliable and punctual
- Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
- Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
Responsibilities:
- Plan and instruct our Beginner Ballet Dance Class
-Keep accurate attendance records
-Provide a safe and caring environment where children are able to learn the fundamentals of Ballet
-Be approachable and encourage feedback of the program
