GRAPHIC DESIGNER
We are currently seeking a Graphic Designer for our head office in
Saskatoon.

Riverbend Group of Companies is a well-established privately
owned Canadian company with a strong influence in the Western
Provinces. Riverbend operates under the trading names of Security
Building Supplies, Madero Distribution and Penner Doors &
Hardware, with branches in Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Calgary,
and Edmonton.

Qualifications and Requirements:
    Design experience
    Post-secondary education in graphic design
    Skills in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office
and Excel
    Thorough understanding of pre-press requirements for
preparing digital files
    A basic understanding of web design and layout
    Confidence in communicating with suppliers and customers
    A willingness to learn the extensive detailed industry of doors
and hardware
    Desire to learn the internal inventory management software
    A willingness to spend significant time in data entry when
required is mandatory

Responsibilities:
This position requires someone who can work well independently
on projects, from start to finish with minimal supervision, in a high-
volume, fast-paced environment. The ability to express ideas clearly
in written and oral communications, strong organizational skills,
attention to detail for quality and accuracy, and a positive
collaborative attitude are a must.

The position entails both design and administrative work on a
variety of projects ranging from 40 page comprehensive product
brochures to modifying expansive Excel spreadsheets. Design is a
very important aspect of the position but is held in equal regard to
the administrative duties.
