MINE PLANNER
Rabbit Lake Operation, SK
POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Working within the mine engineering department, you will be
responsible for short to medium term mine design, planning and
scheduling. Core duties will include planning, design and
drafting in the core areas of underground development, stope
production, mine infrastructure and underground utilities. You
will gather data and report on mine performance with respect to
established site targets and schedules.
With safety as your core value, you will focus on high quality
results and provide direction and guidance to ensure that
planning is in place to achieve long-term development and mine
production targets.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements of the position:
You have a related technical diploma
You have 6 to 12 years of progressive mine planning
experience
Equivalent combination of education and work experience
will be considered
Strong technical writing and communication skills are
essential
Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
Knowledge of the uranium industry and mining in the
Athabasca basin
Working knowledge of Vulcan mine design software
Operational experience in an underground conventional
mine setting
