General accountability
As a key member of the Marketing and Communications Team, the Communications Coordinator will develop, enhance and monitor the organizations overall communication strategy. In conjunction with the Director of Marketing and Communications, this position will drive the strategic development and tactical implementation of a robust, consistent, trusted and engaging communications strategy. This includes identifying, developing, implementing and measuring unique, engaging and collaborative communication channels and tools to cater to our different audience needs.
Act as a resource for writing in several areas including communication, marketing, and technical
Develop and implement the March communication strategy in collaboration with the Director of Marketing and Communication
Create and evaluate communications strategies and programs designed to inform clients and employees of initiatives and policies
Ensure brand and image compliance
Public relations duties including acting as a spokesperson on behalf of March answering written and oral inquiries
Communicate the March brand to internal and external stakeholders
Co-ordinate and plan for office services, such as equipment, supplies, forms, deliveries, personnel database, parking, maintenance and security services
Coordinate central communication hub for March
Collaborate with Admin Team to help organize MARCH staff social and client events
Direct external inquiries to the appropriate contacts or services within the organization
Front end office services
Employment requirements
Completion of post-secondary undergraduate degree in commerce, communication or public relations or a B.A. in economics, political science or humanities is required.
Exceptional communications skills, both verbal and written.
Self-directed with high level skills in a variety of areas
