DEPARTMENT/PROGRAM: 2E Maternity
CLASSIFICATION: Nurse A
STATUS: Permanent Full Time
HOURS OF WORK: 12 hours shifts
RATE OF PAY: As per SAHO/SUN C.A. ($34.25 - $44.46 per hour)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Must be eligible for registration with Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association.
3-5 years acute care experience preferred. Previous obstetrical, surgical and pediatric experience an asset.
Sound nursing judgment and initiative, ability for flexibility and self direction.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required to obtain CPR Heart and Stroke Foundation; NRP, Fetal Health Surveillance and Breastfeeding package within 6 months of hire.
FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES: Sunday through Saturday. 12 hour shifts (0730 1947) (1930 0747) Provisional roto as per Article 7.03 c.
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as possible
Package offered to individuals who have completed training and have not received a Regional Bursary:
1) $2,500 recruitment grant with an one year (1,950 hours worked) return for service
commitment; and
2) Up to $2,500 for relocation, with receipts, for an additional one year (1,950 hours worked) return for service commitment.
