Brandt is a growing, dynamic, and diverse group of companies that design and manufacture farm equipment, specialty machinery for heavy industry and material handling equipment for the rail industry.
Brandt is currently looking for a Shipper and Receiver/Material Handler. Reporting to the Shop Manager and Shipping Receiving Supervisor, the Shipper & Receiver/Material Handler is responsible for helping out with the shop flow at Brandt Equipment Solutions Ltd. The incumbent is to work with shop and production planning personnel to ensure Lean shop flow. The right candidate will be customer focused, have strong communication skills, be able to work in a team environment, able to lift or move up to 50lbs, have solid problem solving skills, and be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Qualifications:
-Understanding of shop prints.
-Working experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferred.
-Basic mathematical skills.
-Ability to weigh and measure items and understand measurements.
-Working knowledge of safe packing methods.
-Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck (6 to 12 months of experience required)
-Attention to detail in all areas of work.
-Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
-Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
