This position is ideal for an experienced Mechanical Engineer who has broad based farm experience and one who is looking to escape the "rush" by willing to adapt to a more peaceful & relaxed lifestyle in a thriving community; Frontier, based out of Southwest Saskatchewan. Successful candidate must have the skill of being inquisitive and instinctive questioning to accurately transfer this new vision to a successful modification, retrofit or prototype design. Your duties would include, but not limited to, participating in brainstorming & concept discussions with management to create theoretical product design, perform solid modeling (drawings and layouts), design calculations, prepare project design schedule, budget & analysis.
Requirements:
-6+ yrs Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer; P.Eng designation a definite asset
-Solid experience in SolidWorks/3D Modeling, MAX, or AutoCAD
-Project and Prototype R&D experience
-Farm background/understanding of farm equipment an advantage
