Description

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in design and cost estimating for projects relating to the field of commercial and institutional building electrical systems including power and communications.  
- Prepare design calculations and review plans for compliance with guidelines, codes and other regulations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, explain technical information, concepts or study results.
- Develop business with new and existing clients and be responsible for the financial performance of the electrical group.  Depending on the level of experience, the successful candidate will work independently in the Regina office or may report to a senior electrical engineer in the Saskatoon office.
- Condition assessment studies on existing building systems.
- Perform all other tasks related to design and site review of building electrical systems.

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10 to 15 years relevant experience in the design of building electrical systems.
- Must be eligible for registration with APEGS as a P. Eng.
- Experience in engineering consulting will be considered an asset
- Good initiative, attention to details.
- Ability to work independently and develop client relations.  
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
