Description

THE POSITION
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the RN/RPN provides accurate assessment, planning,
implementation and evaluation of resident care. An ability to communicate effectively with families and the health care team is required. The individual must possess a progressive and innovative approach to long term care.
THE PERSON
A diploma/degree in nursing & current registration with SRNA/RPNAS are required.
Selection for this position will be based on Article 27.04 of the SUN/SAHO Collective Agreement. The position shall be offered on the basis of seniority, provided the applicant possesses the qualifications required to fill the
position and the sufficient ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
It will be desirable if you possess a knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques involved in performing nursing services relating to the care of patients in Long Term Care. Good attendance required.
