The Mill Electrical General Foreman is accountable for the power service from the terminal station to the main site power station; for all surface electrical and instrumentation services, including design and code compliance, applicable licensing, installation, maintenance, repair and up-grading; and for the co-ordination of all surface electrical and instrumentation activities with affected operating, maintenance and administration personnel.
The incumbent must hold a degree in electrical engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution (or significant equivalent experience plus journeyperson status), plus 4-6 years experience in electrical maintenance and/or engineering functions. The successful candidate must also possess superior interpersonal, administrative, communication, planning and computer skills.
The successful candidate may be required to undergo a background check. All safety sensitive positions require a substance test in accordance with PotashCorp policy.
