The incumbent will be responsible for providing engineering and technical support in maintenance functions, as well as crossing the boundaries to project and construction management, developing and analyzing design proposals, specifications, manuals and other data to evaluate the feasibility of implementation, cost and maintenance requirements.
The Mill Mechanical Engineer will be a graduate of a recognized university in Mechanical Engineering and must be eligible (or become eligible) for P. Eng. status in the province of Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will have demonstrated a progressive work experience including project management, supervisory roles, positive and proactive attitude towards safety, as well as, possess strong computer skills, technical ability, interpersonal, administrative, problem solving, negotiation and communication skills.
The successful candidate may be required to undergo a background check. All safety sensitive positions require a substance test in accordance with PotashCorp policy.
