We are currently recruiting a Location Manager for the following position in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Specific responsibilities include:
Manage facility assets
Leads and directs all aspects & daily operations of the facility to ensure efficiency & profitability
Responsible for performance management & recruitment process for all facility personnel
Coordinates ordering of fertilizer, seed, chemical
Maintain valid Pesticide Dispensers License
Ensure proper Bulk Seed facility operating licensing requirements
Forecasts and budgets for facility profitability
Promotes & enforces EH&S programs
Continued education on the development of agricultural products/services
Assists with building key relationships with suppliers & community
Ensure all sales staff are promoting the key CPSC products to maximize sales & profits
Oversee all inventory levels including coordinating orders with CPSC purchasing staff
Candidate should possess these qualifications:
Minimum 4 years demonstrated experience in vocational, agricultural or combination in supervisory, education, and work experience
Agriculture diploma or degree desired
Minimum 2-3 years supervisory experience
Valid Drivers License
Strong time management and planning skills
Excellent communication and people skills, both written and oral
of computer programs to include Excel, Word, Outlook
Ability to work in a fast paced work environment in season
Adapt to variable work hours in season
