Description

As the Inventory Analyst you will implement, administer and continue to develop a plant wide cycle count program to find and correct errors and causes of errors in the perpetual inventory records. In addition, when requested or required, this position will participate in and/or lead World Class Manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities include:
Perform ABC analysis on raw material and finished goods inventories using 12 months anticipated demand looking forward.
Set cycle count schedule and tolerances to meet or exceed minimum standards for count frequency and accuracy as set out in the Global Financial Policies.
Verify inventory by physically counting stock. Compare physical counts against inventory records and reconcile by comparing to system transactions.  Initiate and process corrections to inventory records in compliance with Finance Department procedures.
Collect data to determine root causes of transaction errors.  Work with appropriate plant personnel to implement corrective action to eliminate causes of errors.
Measure and report on the following: Value of inventory cycle counted, value of cycle count adjustments, record accuracy, inventory valuation accuracy, root causes of errors, progress of corrective actions
Supervises and directs others in the cycle count program.
Holds regular safety meetings and requires that safety devices be used at all times by personnel.
Maintains positive employee and management relations within the guidelines of company policy.
Directs all related personnel actions (selection, training, performance reviews, discipline, etc.) for employees.

The qualified candidate will have:
5+ years of direct supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
MS Office experience to include Excel and PowerPoint experience
