Job Title: Family Physician

Location: Turtleford/Edam/St. Walburg

Details:

The North Saskatchewan River Municipal Health Holdings operates as a decentralized group practice where physicians provide services in 3 communities to 11 municipalities of approximately 4500 people in total. The Town of Turtleford is central to this model and is the location of an integrated clinic, acute care and long term care facility, with 24/7 emergency services. The communities of St. Walburg and Edam each have health clinics located within integrated long term care facilities with no after hours physician services.

The North Saskatchewan Municipal Health Holdings (NSRMHH) offers the following incentives to physicians interested in a rural, decentralized practice model:

1. Turnkey practice  clinics in each location complete with clinic
staff, patient files, equipment and supplies.

2. Various incentives such as signing and retention bonuses,
subsidized housing, and a vehicle allowance.

3. Billings  Health Holdings provides a turnkey operation for a fee consisting of  a percentage of clinic billings, WCB, SGI, 3rd party Forms and fee-for-service on after hours billings. All monies paid for the on-call hourly rate, after hour surcharge and after hours premiums is retained by the physician.

4. For Physicians who opt to extend their contract after 3 years, a further signing bonus is available to them on an annual basis. The NSRMHH will also provide a monetary incentive for
physicians practicing within the NSRMHH should they recruit other physicians who join the Health Holdings.
